“The bus drivers were helpful on the two lines we rode on. However, the Athens Marathon was this weekend and buses weren’t running on full schedules due to many closed roads. I am sure that the Hop On / Hop Off bus company was aware of this long before the weekend of Nov. 8-9th. I think the company should be forthcoming with information that impacts their services. We basically paid $72 for 48 hour service and used it once on Saturday for about 90 minutes. Using the earplugs was useless because the recording didn’t correspond with the locations.”

“We were very excited to be able to hit all of the important sights in Athens but we were a little disappointed. The maps for the hop on hop off tour were very hard to read. Also, our cruise ship did not get in until 1pm and the last bus stopped at 5pm. So, it felt like we spent the whole day on the bus and only got a little time to explore the sights.”
